Texas A&M University-Commerce selects StatBroadcast for live stats in 2016-17

COMMERCE, TEXAS --

Texas A&M University-Commerce has selected StatBroadcast as its official provider of live stats for university athletic events during the 2016-17 academic year.

Texas A&M-Commerce is a public university located in Commerce, Texas and it is the fourth oldest state university or college in Texas having been founded in 1889. Originally named East Texas State University, Texas A&M-Commerce joined the Texas A&M University system in 1996 and with a current enrollment of more than 12,000 students, it is the third-largest campus in the Texas A&M University System. The TAMUC  Lions sponsor 12 varsity sports at the NCAA Division-II level and compete as members of the Lone Star Conference. The Lions football team has appeared in the post season three straight years, competing in the Live United Texarkana Bowl in 2013, winning the CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl in 2014 and falling in the first round of the NCAA National Playoffs last winter.

Texas A&M-Commerce is the 24th university from the state of Texas to partner with StatBroadcast and the seventh member of the Lone Star Conference.
